The University Women's Club presented $550 to the Bonnechere Manor Centre Auditorium Campaign while at the same time celebrating the 104th year of Kay Derry's life. In the picture is Eleanor Donaldson, BMF Director and Member of the UWC, Barb Moogk and Dorothy Cooke of the UWC and Community Relations Coordinator, Robyn Arseneau

Member of the University Women's Club and former volunteer with the Bonnechere Manor, Derry turns 104 in May. Derry says a new auditorium is something Bonnechere Manor needs: "I felt very badly when they built the new Manor that they didn't put an auditorium in there" she said of the building of the current Manor which opened in 1995.

In reflecting on the Auditorium in the previous Manor: "there were lots of concerts and volunteers came to help out... there were different orchestras. People came down from Ottawa and all over." There were weddings in the Manor's old auditorium, in addition to a school, teas, cards and much more, Kay Derry recalled.

Thank-You to the Universtiy Women's Club and Kay Derry for your support!
