Christmas Cheer Broadcast! - November 27thNovember 27th 2010 until November 27th 2010 Bonnechere Manor Foundation Helds It's First-Ever "Christmas Cheer Broadcast"!
Success for Bonnechere Manor Foundation’s “Christmas Cheer Broadcast”!
Another success for the Bonnechere Manor Foundation with a whopping $20,000 raised during their “Christmas Cheer Broadcast” with Valley Heritage Radio CJHR 98.7 FM this past weekend! The community was once again unrelenting in their support for the Bonnechere Manor’s Auditorium Campaign, taking the total amount left to be raised for the Auditorium down from $110,000 to $90,000!
Community Relations Coordinator, Robyn Arseneau was thrilled when she said “this support is unbelievable! The generosity of the community is beyond anything I have seen, and it just goes to show how much this project is believed in… everyone is making such a difference in the lives of the residents at Bonnechere Manor and you all have to be commended. I just can’t wait to have the Auditorium complete, in order to fill it with celebrations with all of our supporters!”
In order to make this production possible, there were over 50 volunteers involved from answering the phones to organizing the event. In addition, this production could not have been possible without Art Jamieson and Dai Bassett who were the hosts for the three hours Saturday morning. Also, the performers of the live entertainment were wonderful and included Wayne Rodstad, MPP, John Yakabuski, The Countrymen and the Bonnechere Manor Resident Choir. Mack Wilson from Wilson Investments once again showed his generosity by sponsoring the “Christmas Cheer Broadcast”.
A huge thank-you to all of those who supported this event and the Auditorium Campaign at Bonnechere Manor.
